Prevention of neurological diseases by cisplatin or similar chemotherapy
Usage · Dosage
In severe cases, 600 to 1,200 mg per day is administered intramuscularly or intravenously.
For treatment over several days or in mild cases, 300 to 600 mg per day is administered intramuscularly or intravenously.
1. Adverse reactions
(1) Anaphylactoid symptoms: In rare cases, anaphylactoid symptoms may occur, so observe thoroughly and discontinue administration if facial pallor, decreased blood pressure, or pulse abnormalities appear.
(2) Hypersensitivity: In rare cases such as rash, discontinue administration.
(3) Digestive system: In rare cases, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain may occur.
2. Application precautions
(1) When dispensing: Vial preparations should be used immediately after dissolution.
(2) In case of intramuscular injection, administer carefully, avoiding nerves and blood vessels. Also, if there is a need for repeated administration, avoid the same area by switching sides and injecting, and be especially careful in infants and children.
3. Storage and handling precautions
(1) Store out of reach of children.
(2) Taking medicine out of its original container and storing it in another container may cause accidents or quality deterioration due to misuse of the medicine, so put it in the original container and keep it tightly closed.
